The platform, co-founded by Alex Packham, Andy Lambert, Michael Walton and Rob Barnett, uses a six-axis AI capability framework developed with the Alan Turing Institute Methodology to evaluate skills like critical thinking and prompting. It then delivers personalized five-minute training modules tailored to each employee's role and the organization's context.

The £1.65 million round was oversubscribed. AcademyAI will use the funds to further develop its platform and expand as organizations increase AI tool adoption. The company provides dashboards for managers to track AI skill development across teams.
