The Toronto-based healthtech startup closed the round co-led by OrbiMed and Qiming Venture Partners USA. Altis says its AI model, IPRO, automatically generates survival predictions from radiology scans to detect treatment effects earlier and more reliably.
Altis will use the $25 million USD to apply its models to more cancer types, expand biopharma partnerships, and establish AI endpoints as a standard for oncology trials. In a recent lung cancer trial, IPRO detected treatment effects missed by traditional methods 11 months before primary progression-free survival results.
