The seed round was led by Keen Venture Partners, with participation from existing investors Vento, Heartfelt, Moonstone, BHeroes, Alecla7 and Nova Venture, plus angel investors including founders of Lexroom, Sibill and Pillar. The investment brings Cato's total funding to €7.6 million after a pre-seed round led by Italian Founders Fund.
Cato's AI platform monitors over 27,000 sources in real time, ranks tenders by relevance, extracts requirements from documents, and pre-fills bid materials. The company has processed thousands of tenders for clients ranging from SMEs to large enterprises in sectors such as medical devices, construction, IT and services. CEO Andrea Zorzetto said the platform helps clients find suitable tenders, understand requirements and prepare bids, increasing their chances of winning. The funding will be used to further develop the platform, expand commercial operations, grow the team, and support international expansion.
