Doorstep integrates into delivery apps like Uber Eats and DoorDash, using phone sensors to detect when a driver enters a building, takes an elevator, and reaches the correct doorstep. The data helps automate dispute resolution and validate deliveries without collecting driver or user information.
The round was led by Canaan Partners, with participation from Antler, Cercano Management, Cassius, and scout Sean Henry. Doorstep said it will use the capital to move its technology from pilot to full production and hire in engineering and product.
