Ekai provides a platform that writes semantic models and data transformation code, starting with domain experts who define business terms as ground truth before converting them into machine-readable logic. The company says this forward-engineering approach, which treats expert definitions as verified context, has completed semantic modeling work in as little as six hours that historically took teams three to six months.
Boston early-stage investor Misneach led the round, with participation from Cambridge AI venture fund C10 Labs. Ekai said the money will accelerate product development and go-to-market operations, and its workflows are available on Snowflake Inc.'s platform with support for Databricks Inc., Google LLC's BigQuery, Amazon Redshift, Microsoft Azure Synapse, Postgres, ClickHouse and DuckDB.
