Eyedentity will use the €1.3 million to pursue regulatory approval, develop additional diagnostic capabilities, and expand its AI platform into opticians, eye clinics, and hospitals.
Founded in 2025, the Stockholm-based startup uses AI to detect uveal melanoma from routine fundus images, reducing false-positive referrals by 90%. It is running a live pilot with Swedish optician network Synologen and plans to commercialize in the Nordics before expanding to Europe and the US.
