The round was led by US investor TQ Ventures, with participation from Sandberg Bernthal Venture Partners, Neo, and CDTM Venture Capital. Furo will use the €3.44 million (approximately $4 million) to expand into additional European markets, grow its team, and further develop its software.

Founded in 2025 as Lumera Energy, Furo provides a platform that forecasts electricity prices and weather up to 48 hours ahead to optimize commercial and industrial battery storage in real time. The company claims its software can reduce customers’ electricity costs by up to 40% and is already used by more than 800 companies across over 6,000 sites in Germany and Europe.
