The round combines equity investment with EFRO regional development funding, supported by VP Capital, Brightlands Venture Partners, Graduate Ventures, and private investors. Including earlier backing from StartLife and a Rabobank innovation loan, Gravity Gardens has raised more than €3 million to date.

The company’s dry seed activation process improves crop establishment without water, chemicals, or coating. It plans to use the capital for industrial-scale equipment development with Demcon and larger trial programmes, targeting market readiness in 2027.
