The round was co-led by Infinity Ventures and Frontline, with participation from FinTech Collective, Stage 2 Capital and Entrepreneurs First. Co-founded by John Daley and Jack Miller, HelmGuard uses AI agents to assess risk information directly from companies’ systems, targeting regulated industries such as financial services, insurance, healthcare and industrials.

The platform automates workflows including third-party risk management and control gap assessments, providing citations and reasoning traces for audits. HelmGuard plans to use the $7.3 million to expand in the US, grow its engineering and commercial teams, and further develop its agent assurance technology for monitoring AI risks.
