The round, which includes €1.6 million in equity and €0.4 million in debt and grants, was led by Next Age (the Silver Economy program of CDP Venture Capital’s National Accelerator Network) with participation from AC75, Growth Engine, Doorway, 20Fund, Zooga VC, and several business angels. Holifya has treated over 3,000 patients since its 2023 launch, using an AI system that integrates up to 3,000 biomarkers per patient to personalise GLP-1 therapy and improve adherence.
The company aims to expand its clinical and tech team to 60 people by end of 2026, capitalising on Italy’s recent recognition of obesity as a chronic disease and the low current adoption of GLP-1 drugs in the country. Holifya’s patients achieve weight loss up to twice that of drug-only treatment and three times higher adherence than the market standard.
