HyImpulse Technologies has raised more than €50 million in a Series A Extension round, co-led by JOIN Capital and Ace Capital Partners, with participation from North Ventures, BW-Capital, Bayern Kapital, the German Aerospace Centre (DLR), and existing backers including Campus Founders Ventures. The extension brings the company's total equity and public funding to more than €125 million.
Founded in 2018 as a DLR spin-off, HyImpulse develops suborbital and orbital rockets using proprietary hybrid propulsion technology that combines paraffin fuel with liquid oxygen. The company plans to use the funds to accelerate development of its SR75 suborbital launcher and orbital SL1 vehicle, expand production, and scale commercial operations across Europe.
