The company plans to invest €2 million of its own capital, bringing the total project to €10 million. LITILIT manufactures lasers using patented technology that enables scalable production and integration into industrial systems, aiming to make femtosecond lasers as cost-effective and simple as fibre nanosecond lasers.
Commercialisation of the new laser system is planned for the second half of 2029. The company recently broke ground on a large-scale femtosecond-laser facility in Vilnius, targeting 3,000 lasers per year, to address scalability barriers in high-power femtosecond laser production.
