Mindgard Ltd., an AI cybersecurity company, has raised $30 million in Series A funding led by Album VC. Karma Ventures, .406 Ventures, Atlantic Bridge, IQ Capital and Lakestar also participated. The company, a spinout from Lancaster University, combines AI security research with offensive security expertise to protect AI models, applications and agents.
Mindgard said it has publicly disclosed over 150 high-impact vulnerabilities in popular AI applications. The company plans to use the funding to expand its engineering, product, sales and marketing teams to meet growing customer demand from Fortune 2000 firms and AI innovators across multiple industries.
