Noosphere Labs, a stealth startup founded by former Meta AI research director Kevin Carlberg, has raised $10.25 million in seed funding led by Trilogy Equity Partners with major participation from Madrona. The company is building what it calls “human-centered physical intelligence” — AI designed to help people interact with the physical world beyond screens.
Carlberg spent more than five years at Meta leading research on physical AI and simulation for wearable computers. His recent work includes a NeurIPS paper benchmarking assistive wearable agents. The startup was incorporated early 2026, and its board includes Trilogy managing director Amy McCullough and former Meta technical program manager Tyler Simpson.
