NorBot Technology raised $1 million CAD in pre-seed funding from undisclosed Canadian tech founders, operators, and investors. The Vancouver startup will use the capital to develop its fleet-management and digital twin software and support its team ahead of first deployments next month.
Founded in June by CEO David Gratton, Leon Ng, and Douglas Lui, NorBot aims to help Canadian businesses source, integrate, and manage robots from top global platforms. It has signed supplier agreements with four robotics manufacturers and paid pilots with a major commercial landlord and BC’s largest healthcare equipment distributor, while ensuring operational data stays in Canada.
