The round was led by Ugly Duckling Ventures, with participation from Emblem, Acadian Ventures and angel investors. Founded in 2025 by Brian Kyed, Lars Ettrup, Steffen D. Sommer and Christian Lomholt, Palette is building an operating system that separates AI models from company context, allowing teams to switch models while retaining internal data and workflows.
Palette Desktop lets teams use AI agents like Claude Code and Codex on local files, with options for cloud or local models. The company is also developing a broader OS with a context library, shared AI skills and a connector gateway. Palette will use the €3 million to expand sales and development.
