Sweet plans to use the $7.4 million to expand its SweetAg platform, which uses AI to help lenders complete weeks-long loan processes in days. The company also intends to start serving banks and credit unions doing other forms of complex commercial lending.
Founded in 2024 by Jeremie Bedard and Luke Johnson, Sweet has processed about $10 billion in loan volume and counts AgAmerica, CHS Capital, and Growmark among its U.S. customers. Nine of its 12 employees are in Canada, but the company sees far greater demand from the U.S. market.
