The Wellness Company, a consumer healthtech startup founded by former Launch associate Presh Dineshkumar, has closed nearly $1.6 million in seed funding. The round was led by BDC Capital’s Seed Venture Fund with participation from BKR Capital, Launch, and undisclosed angel investors. The company plans to use the capital to grow its team and invest in AI development for its central product, Tempo.
Tempo is an AI companion accessible via iMessage that helps users create personalized health plans by synthesizing data from the company’s other apps, wearables, and user inputs. The Wellness Company has launched four mobile apps since 2025, including GoPolar, SunSeek, and Posture AI, and has attracted tens of thousands of users and over 10,000 paying customers.
