The round was co-led by Invest-NL and Alder Tree Investments, with participation from existing shareholders Horticoop, BOM, Future Food Fund, Graduate Ventures, Innovation Industries, VDL Groep and Goeie Grutten Impact Fonds. The round also includes a €2.7 million RVO innovation credit, with Invest-NL contributing €4 million.
VitalFluid plans to use the capital to accelerate commercial growth in the UK, support expansion into the US market, and enable further rollout in crops such as strawberries, apples, and grapes. The company’s plasma-activated water technology offers a natural, residue-free alternative to chemical fungicides.
